Welcome to Lawnswood School
Lawnswood is a truly comprehensive and inclusive school.
All students have talent and we strive to create an ethos that will develop those talents in a happy caring and safe environment.
We strive to promote high quality education for every student where there is pride their achievements. Building their confidence and encouraging the many students that join us each year.
Lawnswood students are central to everything we do and their needs provide the main focus of our daily work and all of our future plans.
Our multi-million state-of–the-art building has superb facilities that are enhanced by our Maths and ICT Specialist School Status. Recently we have achieved many prestigious awards including the Inclusion Chartermark, Arts Mark Silver, Healthy Schools accreditation and the Stephen Lawrence Award. Just over a year ago we were also judged to be one of the most improved schools in the UK.
We are very proud of our students, their achievements and our school.

EXAMS DURING BAD WEATHER:
During the current weather conditions all exams will take place as normal, even if the school is closed for lessons. Students should make every effort to attend their exams. If extreme weather causes us to cancel exams as well, we will post a note to that effect on this website.
